Privacy Policy

Promptski ("Promptski," "we," "us") is operated by TLOS Technologies Inc., a Delaware corporation. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. By using promptski.ai you agree to this policy.

What we collect

Email address: when you unlock a library prompt or complete onboarding. Prompts you submit: the text you enter into the enhancer, processed to generate your improved prompt. Onboarding answers: optional details (e.g. your role, which AI you use) you choose to share. Usage data: basic, privacy-respecting analytics (pages, actions) to improve the product.

To enforce the free daily limit we store a one-way hashed version of your IP address, never the raw address.

Text extracted from files you attach is sent to our AI provider with your prompt. We do not store the extracted text beyond the request, except for any parts included in your prompt or enhanced result saved in the enhancement log described below. The log also records whether a file was attached, but not the extracted text itself.

How we use it

To provide and improve the enhancer and library; to send you product and marketing email (you can unsubscribe from any message); and to understand how the product is used. We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers

We share data only with vendors that help us run Promptski: Convex (database and backend), OpenRouter and the underlying AI model providers (to process your prompt and return the enhanced version), Stripe (payments), Klaviyo (email), Resend (login and account email), Google and Apple (optional sign-in), and Vercel (hosting). Each processes data on our behalf under their own terms.

Some file-reading tools (PDF and image text extraction) load helper code from public CDNs (unpkg and jsDelivr), which means those services see your IP address like any web request.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store full card numbers. We receive limited billing details, such as name, email, billing country, card brand and last four digits, to manage subscriptions. See Stripe's privacy policy.

Your prompts & AI processing

The text you submit is sent to AI providers via OpenRouter to generate output. Please don't paste sensitive personal, financial, or confidential information into any prompt. Enhanced outputs may be imperfect, so review before you use them.

We also store the prompts you enter and their enhanced results, and analyze them in aggregate to improve Promptski's quality and build better features. This is our enhancement log. We keep this data associated with your anonymous device id or email; you can request deletion anytime (see below).

Handoff links

Content you share through a handoff link is stored on our backend until the link is revoked, or until it is read for a burn-after-read link. Password-protected links store only a hashed password, never the password itself.

Local storage & cookies

Promptski stores your prompt history and preferences in your browser's localStorage so the app works across visits. We use minimal cookies required to run the site. Clearing your browser data removes your local history.

Your choices & rights

You can unsubscribe from emails anytime, and request access to or deletion of your data by emailing us. Depending on where you live (e.g. the EU/UK or California) you may have additional rights to access, correct, or delete your information; we honor valid requests.

Data retention

We keep lead and account data while your relationship with Promptski is active and as needed for legal and operational purposes, then delete or anonymize it.

Children

Promptski isn't directed to anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy; we'll revise the date above and, for material changes, give notice.
